When you hear someone cheated on their partner, it’s generally assumed it was the guy in the relationship.  Men have gotten the bad rap when it comes to cheating even though women are doing it just as much today.  If you’re in a relationship that’s not very exciting, then you need to be on guard against other potential guys your girlfriend may be into.  That doesn’t mean you need to play the jealous boyfriend because that will probably worsen things, but you do need to pay more attention to little clues that your girlfriend may be seeing someone else.

Too Much Freedom

Generally in a relationship the more freedom your girlfriend gives you the happier your relationship is.  What you need to watch out for is when she seems to be pushing you away.  If she wants to do separate things more than usual then chances are something is wrong.  When you aren’t having fun together she’ll be looking for other things to do without you, and she’s more than likely looking for someone to replace you.

She Starts Creating Fights

This is a blinding sign that she’s looking to break up or she’s thinking of cheating on you.  If your girlfriend is happy being with you then she’ll let the little things go and won’t blow up small things.  When she starts getting on your case about things that never were a problem before it’s time to take a look at your relationship.  If a girl is thinking about cheating on you, all she needs is an excuse.  Naturally she will create her own by starting small fights with you and breaking apart your relationship.

Less Affection From Her

If you start noticing a change in her affection for you this may be a sign that someone else is taking over her thoughts.  If you stop getting physical as much, or it seems to be “mechanical” on her end, there may be a problem.  Women do go through sexual phases where she won’t want to even touch you at times, and at other times you can’t get her off your hip.  If you do notice a change in your affection for each other look a little closer and see if there may be someone else to blame.

She Becomes Mystery Woman

Yes it’s great for there to be some mystery between you two.  That just adds to the fun of getting to know each other and having a healthy relationship.  The problem arises however when she suddenly becomes more mysterious than usual, and your birthday isn’t coming up soon.  Women typically become mysterious when they are trying to hide something from you, or they are bored with your relationship.  Either way, if she never seems to have time for you, but always seems to be available for the first girlfriend to phone her, then it’s time to look closer into your relationship.
